The 2021 edition of our magazine The Grammarian arrived back from the printers last Tuesday and distribution has already commenced. Hand deliveries around Bangor and district by Committee members and friends should be completed before the end of the month, while reports of posted copies (sent out by second-class mail on Wednesday afternoon) being delivered started to reach us on Friday. Well done Royal Mail!

We would urge recipients of the printed version to take note of the accompanying message regarding the delivery address and to get back to us by way of our grammarians@btconnect.com address with any changes or to indicate a preference in future years for the identical digital edition.

The aforementioned digital edition was sent by email (by way of a safe link) to hundreds of Bangor Grammarians around the world on Friday evening. Very few ‘bounced back’ – indicating that an email address held in our records was invalid. If you have received the magazine in the past by this method and it has not arrived, please get in touch with your new email address.

As in previous years, the 2021 magazine will be released as a free download before Christmas for all past pupils who are not members of our Bangor Grammarians organisation – via our Facebook page and the Bangor Grammarians website.

Our thanks go to the dozen or more contributors, especially young/ recent past pupils, who have ensured the 2021 magazine is not only a permanent record of the impact of Covid-19 on the BGS family but also reflects the varied lives of past pupils and staff over the years.
