Bangor Grammarians extend hearty congratulations to Crisanto Espana, Luke Dornan and Phil Anderson, all from the Year of 2011 and all recent graduates in Medicine from Dundee University. Matthew Kennedy, from the same year group, has also graduated in Medicine, from Aberdeen University.

We are aware that Luke has just taken up a post in an Edinburgh hospital and would welcome your progress reports on the above-named former pupils and indeed other BGS graduates.

With such a strong presence of past pupils in Scotland, both residents and students, it is timely to confirm that the previously popular Edinburgh Dinner is being revived later this year. The dinner will be held on Friday 27 October in the Scott Room at the Royal Scots Club in Abercromby Place.

Those who have already indicated their intention to attend span the decades from the 1950s to the present day, so please don’t think for a minute you’ll feel out of place. Year groups will be especially welcome, but individuals will be assured the warmest of BGS welcomes!

For further information keep an eye on the Bangor Grammarians website/ Facebook page for updates, email dinners@grammarians.co.uk or tel. vice-chairman Terence Bowman, who is temporarily handling enquiries, on 0795 1843604.
