Mock Interview Skills Day

On Tuesday 20th January, our Year 12 students took part in a Mock Interview Skills Day designed to build confidence, sharpen communication skills, and prepare them for future pathways beyond school.

The day began with an interview skills workshop in the morning, where students explored how to present themselves professionally, respond effectively to questions, and reflect on their strengths and experiences. This foundation set the tone for the afternoon, when students participated in individual mock interviews that closely mirrored real-world interview situations.

A highlight of the day was the involvement of our school alumni, who generously volunteered their time to act as interviewers. Their insight, encouragement, and constructive feedback provided students with an invaluable opportunity to practise in a supportive yet authentic environment. Hearing advice from those who once stood in their shoes made the experience particularly meaningful and inspiring for our students.

We extend our sincere thanks to all alumni who participated and supported the event. Their willingness to give back to the school community played a crucial role in the success of the day and had a lasting impact on our Year 12 cohort.
