Boxing Day hockey – with mince pies!

Bangor Grammar School’s traditional Boxing Day hockey matches offer past pupils the perfect antidote to all the excesses of Christmas Day. This year’s programme will feature no fewer than three games, the first (at 10am) being between the ‘older’ Old Boys and the School’s 2nd XI.
Next up, at 11am, will see the current 1st XI taking on last year’s 1st XI. The third match, beginning at noon, will be between two Select XIs (organised by Conor Savage and Dean Varley).
As ever there will be hot drinks and mince pies for spectators and participants alike – the venue being the School pitches at Gransha Road. All are invited to come along and enjoy a sporting morning to remember!
