After a long-awaited return, Old Boys gathered in London for the re-establishment of the Grammarians Dinner — a milestone evening that reminded us why this community endures.
From BlackRock to the BBC, from the bar to the boardroom, the room reflected the remarkable breadth of what BGS men go on to achieve. The evening brought together alumni across generations to reconnect, celebrate, and hear about the life of the school today — from sporting success and a landmark legacy gift, to the launch of the Digital Archive and the BGS x Copeland Distillery collaboration.
A huge thank you to Grammarian President Aaron Thompson and William Glover for organising the evening, and to everyone who made the journey. Nights like this are a reminder that while pupils spend seven years at Bangor Grammar School, they belong to it for life.
Here's to making this a regular fixture.
