Bangor Grammarians are pleased to announce the impending distribution of The Grammarian 2016, the annual magazine for former pupils of Bangor Grammar School. We are breaking new ground this year with a 52-page full-colour publication – the first time we have been able to do this, and it’s largely thanks to the support we have received from no fewer than 18 different advertisers.
The magazine has just arrived back from the printers and distribution will take place over the next few weeks. Thanks to our happy team of willing volunteers the distribution, direct to hundreds of past pupils’ letter boxes in the town and district, will be completed at no cost to Bangor Grammarians, ensuring our resources can be directed towards supporting the School in a number of different ways.
In addition, we will be posting copies of The Grammarian to addresses throughout the UK and Ireland, Europe and around the world. All magazines will include information about the annual Bangor dinner (18 November), along with a plea to get in touch to confirm we have the correct contact information.
Did we mention the online edition? Last year we produced a full-colour rival to the (then) monochrome edition of The Grammarian, earning considerable praise from Grammarians who had opted to receive the magazine in this modern format. We will again distribute a digital copy of the magazine to old boys who have indicated this preference to us.
By way of a reminder, The Grammarian is delivered free of charge to members of Bangor Grammarians. Anyone requiring further information about membership, or how to join our organisation, can contact membership@grammarians.co.uk. We look forward to hearing from you – you might even have some thoughts about material for The Grammarian 2017!
